Faunsdale, AL | X2. Earlage all the way. much much faster, already processed when it leaves the field, bags great and feeds great. Should be able to find someone to custom chop earlage in your area so you might not have to spend the money to get setup for it.
If you use wagons for earlage and especially if you grind HM corn into a wagon, be mindful of the weight you are putting on the forage box floor, wagon running gear and tires. I have replaced a few floors! I think most of it was using a CLAAS chopper and good corn silage but I am sure the earlage didn't help.
