Never seen it with my own eyes but have heard stories. Mainly large feedlots that run several thousand at a time. In a hurry not see a leg in the wrong place and snap.
I run a scissor type but there not perfect either. Pros and cons on everything. I've had some older smart cows that would chock themselves out on purpose. There no longer here.
