Oklahoma | Don't have a problem with solid sides but you still need to be able to see the cattle. Run a 30ft single alley. I will attach pics of both sides. Have 48" piece of 12 gauge on each side. With yearlings or mature cattle there was no issues but when running 3 or 4 weights you couldn't see them. So last fall I brought one side down another 8 inches or so and made a big difference. Helped alot.
