I also know a lot of 2 year cc grads that have jobs that only require a high school diploma or cdl.

Everyone of my friends from CC went on to get a degree from state or private colleges. All our wall hanging diplomas (full of dust in back floor of closets) say the name of grantor of the Bachelor of Arts or science, nothing mentioned of community college.

Dr’s, anesthesiologists, engineers, military guys, and this lowly dirt farmer all saved a minimum of 80% in tuition/books and living expense the first two years of our college experience. Rediculously cheap and 3 credits did not transfer for me. Oh well.

But alas, I didn’t get to drink beer with freshmen of big ten schools..... had to wait till I was a junior. Not sure how much I missed out on, guess that extra money in my pocket was a trade off. Biggest con is going to the chiropractor more often because the wallet is too fat from money saved. :)
