I know it's Iowa. So you might be more livestock friendly
Do your buildings require building permits? Are you also
subject to inspections such as electrical and building inspections.
Our county requires measured setbacks, building permits and a valuation
for every structure. We are in the same county as Sioux Falls SD.
We have to satisfy a footing inspection,framing and electrical inspection.
Also on livestock buildings a manure management program and water shed impact.
Then the building is put on the tax rolls at a very slow depreciation schedule.
