NC | Currently raise hogs under contract and have a small corn/soybean operation and bale Bermuda hay...I sell all my hay...have been thinking ab fencing off a 30 acre field and planting some grass and buying some cows..I've never been around cows and don't really have too many folks To ask in my area so I'm looking for some advice about fence and layout and some type of working area...(I'm trying to attach a photo of the property)...the L shaped field will b the first pasture which is ab 30 acres but I would like the layout to be where I could add the square field (20acres) in the future...also there's currently no electric or water at the site...county water would probably be the simplest way to go ab water but I'm not sure what folks are doing as far as tubs or watering systems in the pasture...also was wondering if I can get by with just barbed wire fence with no electric wire...thanks for any suggestions ...
