Don't let them get dead ripe if you are going to round bale them, you'll lose all the oats. Cut it green and round bale it. My cattle really like it. I give it to them for bedding and next thing I know they've eaten most of it.
That's the plan, almost dead ripe. Don't want them to green,and don't want them standing
dry. Plan to cut on that fine line :)
And of course.......it will rain :) |
Oats... Combine.
