E.Central MN | In theory in some make believe magical world(Pres Trump's world maybe?) farmers could just wave their magic wand and poof- instantly eliminate the US over production. Maybe if you were farming in the futures market you could do that, but my crop takes all summer to grow. If I go out and disk it down (my magic wand) then I'm out of business. Farmers can deal somewhat with normal supply imbalances year to year, its the govt-caused market disruptions that cause farmers the most damage. | |
