Se wisc. | That was a messy time. Remember driving thirty miles to sell the funny money to a larger elevator. Think it was Continental Grain. Also the fiasco at FSA office when the fax machine would run out of paper after hours and the Order to redeem grain would not be documented.
The real winners were the people buying grain and putting it under loan and receiving government storage payments. A lot of government money built bins for the unscrupulous. Taxpayers prolly still mad about the non policeing of dollars.
Kinda remembered you were not to sell grain until you had it released but everybody still did.
