| I read a lot on here and take with a grain of salt. Some areas had problems but by and large MoSt of the corn belt had excellent planting conditions and a dry may, followed by wet June. 10 million acres in IOwa of their 13 million look stellar to go along with IL, In. Sounds like even MN has some great crops once you get away from the border. Like it or not this thing is fixing to be another record, unless we get some pretty hot temps and the heat shuts off in the next couple weeks.
Edit to add: it is rare that too much water by itself is in a big enough area to affect national yields. IL was terrible in 2015 from too much water (178?) but other areas made up for us and we fInished above trend (172?) going from memory.
