I tend to agree with you there. I was curious a while back as someone on Agtalk had posted that every Republican President in modern times has had a recession. I tended to doubt that statement, so I googled "history of US recessions", and by golly that pretty much held to be true. But what really surprised me was the length of economic growth between recessions. In the last 164 years or so, we are now in the 2nd longest period between recessions. If we make it one more year we would be in the longest period between recessions in the last 164 years. After doing some on line reading it sure seems like we are running on borrowed time until we see another recession? Not sure if the following links will work? But there is much info if just Google the topic.
