farmer4321 - 7/5/2018 18:43 I was hoping that trump might backtrack on his tariffs sometime today because the Chinese said they wouldn't go first. But when I came in from spraying beans just now I see that he's determined to go to war. One of the reasons I wanted him to call it off was that presumably the soybean market would immediately rebound to some level and then we could disentangle the weather effect from the tariff effect. But it was just too much to expect that trump would be so accommodating to my intellectual curiosity.
