| After this heat and not looking like any rain until the 13th that puts a lot areas 3-4 weeks without any rain in IL/IN etc. We don't grow 220bu field averages with that combo. This reminds me of 2011 when we started July absolutely great and thought we had 200 farm avg potential. You could see the corn leave the farm every day. We ended up with 150-160. No not a disaster but this I don't look at todays forecast as conducive to the yields of 2016-2017. | |
