We'll have 30 MMT of soybeans that would normally go to China available at rock bottom prices. And if you don't mind feeding maize to your livestock instead of barley we'll have plenty of that also at prices in the $100 per ton range. I bet you can't begin to grow grain that cheap.
No, your crop failure couldn't have happened at a better time for you. Imagine, a massive crop failure and no food price increase.
PS: sorry to hear about your crops, the only thing worse than drought is floods. With floods, you can't even bale the straw.
