Thanks for the posting, I knew I had seen them somewhere before, bullseye for worst corn this year is Martin and Jackson county, both late planting and rain , than west to where it is more the heavy rains to Sioux Falls. East I think just Faribalt and than a tier of counties over these. Drown outs same in emmet county Iowa and follows same area only south of the line. A lot of rain outside these areas but not quite as heavy and didn't get crop in quite as late on such a large portion. I think I saw if you drew a circle around Martin county that would include 4 or 5 mn counties and 4 or 5 Iowa counties it is the seventh or 8 th highest producing zone in us for corn production. Zone may be a little bigger than that but not much. I have seen that map in just last month somewhere.
