S MN | Sorry to tell you, but your 91 day corn can be great, but it still wont out yield the 101-113 day corn that the I90 corridor usually plants. I don't mean that as a slight, I'm just saying that the bigger numbers yield more when given the chance, its the same reason parts of Illinois hit it out of the park with some 110-118 day corn.
And there are more acres in southern MN. So up north would need 230+ averages on there smaller acres to make up for all the 170s southern mn is going to have this year.
Again non of this is a slight against your crop. Just that there are fewer acres up north. | |
