Subject: RE: Hemp Farming Act

West Central MN (between MMF and Larson's)
MN ok'd Industrial Hemp a couple years ago. As already stated though, a RELIABLE outlet might have to be vertically generated.

For all the uses it supposedly has, not many buyers. There are few folks selling to the newby's I think, but that will only be about as successful as the Jerusalem Artichoke long term.

Was told by someone in the know of the 50 folks or so that planted it last year, only about 60-70% got harvested. Of what got harvested only about 20% has gotten used/processed/purchased. The rest is sitting in farmer hands and hoping for a windfall.

Doesn't hurt to keep an open mind, but the devil is always in the details and is rarely easy.
