I think it depends on how your basis is right now. Around us the basis has gotten pretty good because the guys selling cash corn have stopped selling with the lower markets. I think at some point (probably later summer) there will be a bunch of corn that has to get out of the bins and come to town which will widen the basis at that time. If it where me I think I would roll it but not wait too long to set the basis. It seems like most times when the elevators roll their bidding month it takes a couple of weeks and then the basis goes back to where it was before the switch. That is an easy 9 cents if you can get the same basis off the Sept. in a couple of weeks compared to what they are paying under the July right now.
