Fontanelle, IA | Importing countries - ie buyers - the only thing that I haven't really thought much about is how much of their buying (purchases) has been "anticipatory" in regards to NAFTA/tariffs/etc. If these "anticipatory" purchases were quite sizeable, they would have provided an inflating mechanism to grain prices all spring long. These were occurring while Argentina crops were cooking and their anticipated export supplies shrinking.
