I live a quarter mile from some tracks. Some damage took place last night from the flooding so there is activity there today. A few are working further down the tracks while 6-7 workers are standing/sitting on the bridge visiting. Major inefficiency. Certainly this is not the only time this happens. I wonder how much cheaper rail rates could be if this sitting around didn’t take place?
Makes you wonder how much cheaper grain would be if grain farmers worked more than 4weeks a year and didn't spend most their time driving around gawking at everyone else who actually works and worrying about things they have no clue about but think they are experts on. |
