| There were issues here last year and it was newer hybrids. I had 3 different ones from 3 major companies planted same day, none made 100. Corn we planted 2 days later 1 mile apart made 170. Couple neighbors I talked to with same issue but different company and hybrids. Of course we were very dry last year and that was part of it, but don't fool yourself if it gets really hot for a week or 10 days straight and that is the exact time your corn is polinating, it can cause problems. | |
