Embarrass WI
I keep my shop at 50 in the winter. I think it's plenty comfortable. Mine is heated with geothermal, it is borderline on size. When there is an extended cold snap, or a lot of wind, the temp may drop to 45.

When I installed it, I expected fossil fuels to keep getting more expensive. With the way the fuel market has gone, a natural gas boiler would have probably been more cost effective.

Insulate, insulate, insulate!
