west central Iowa | We talked to the trauma surgeon earlier today and he said a tracheostomy and feeding tube might be necessary if he didn't regain consciousness enough to follow commands in a few days. But just now we got done talking to the neurology doc and he seemed pretty positive that he would recover with time and the the trach and feeding tube would not be necessary. He's improved and is breathing on his own over the ventilator. Thanks for the prayers! | |
