She's a teacher, so she's off this time of year.  Went to our insurance office and told them the story of what they told her on the phone.  They have some sort of alliance with his agent, but she said if we're not happy, don't settle.  Either they will come to terms, or my insurance will pay then go after them for reimbursement.    Car is a 2010 Edge with 78,000 miles on it.  Dealer maintained, has extended factory warranty to 100,000 miles.  I called the dealership, actually my cousin sells cars, to ask what the value of it would be so I would know about what it would take to replace it if it came to that.  I figure if they can match the value, pay the hospital visit, and maybe a little for her pain right now for a few days I'd be good.  May need a rental though, this is recital week for my 2 daughters, a lot of running around, may need the 2nd car.
