swmn | We just bought one of the new speed queens with agitator, can run it normal without the water saver mode if you want, have used it booths ways and seems to do well on very dirty clothes, was told they've been testing these new ones for years and are built to commercial standards. We've only had it a few months but have been happy, like you I wanted the old style but we were a few days to late and all were sold out. When we were looking and talking to people that service them they said maytag was only good for a couple years like most of the others. We haven't had it long enough to say for sure but seems like a simpler well built machine. If you have dirty clothes like I do, (feedlot covered in manure, shop clothes full of grease and oil) do not get on without an agitator | |
