Being riverbottom country, we have our fair share of cottonmouths.  I hate those dudes.  A rat snake can hang out, but I won't avoid running over one. There are a very few rattlers around, I've never come up on one but I am sure I have some back in some of the rocky bluffs.  I'm waaay to lazy to hike em so if they're there, no worries of me finding them.
