1206 Boyz: Can’t help you with the map/info your looking for, sorry. But I know you’re involved in the Grain Industry. Wondering what your thoughts/thoughts of your associates are as far as when the wet areas that aren’t planted will start to become a significant issue? I’m mainly speaking of corn right now. For sure the market really can’t afford to lose too many of the intended corn acres, can it? Seems like the rain mostly continues to track across much of the same areas.

Thanks for asking J/S....YES...there is a concern. Will need to figure this out in the next 10 days to 2 weeks.

You spot on ... we can NOT lose corn acres.   My thoughts are ....IF we get a window...we will get most of it planted... we will lose some acres.    I learned NOT to bet against a Farmer.  Will we plant 88 million or less?

Longer term....keep a close eye on demand.    It would appear the demand side is what we will be talking about in months to come.  Politics may knock the market around a bit.  There is a story here.....it started with Argentina's crop problem.
