Subject: Crop update after missing last weeks

Our area is still a week or two behind. Corn planting just started rolling the last couple days. The weather is cold yet but looks to change this wek. Moisture is ok but definitely not wet here. Sounds really wet in some places in Minnesota. We can still pull an above average crop easily if we get wrapped up in the next two weeks. I am cutting corn acres down to a minimum. I am going deep into the hay market, rolling the dice. I could probably sell 1500 tons of hay if I can get that much put up. I will make way more money on hay than corn if it pans out. I like home runs. The last three years I have struck out twice and one single. I am getting more diversified so the crop is becoming secondary. That’s what happens when you have 3 jobs lol
