EC SoDak | Why not? People are not giving a cool finish near enough credit. In general, late season it was dry out east but with ample rains the first half of the season, the tank was full. Out west it started raining the last half of the season, giving just in time rains to make a go of it. Throw in a cool fill and finish and you get a crop that struggled, but performed. The E/SE fringe had a good growing season. Kind of like how we seen what good growing conditions in the western fringe did to help the national average lately.
It really seems explainable from the data we were given and points we witnessed...
