Subject: Re: tracked tractors and air seeders

Southeast Washington
I pull a Case IH with a Challenger because I don't think a wheel tractor would pull it where I need to go on the hills. I also have the hydraulic swinging drawbar to help make the uphill turns so it turns around pretty good. I haven't ever pulled an air drill with a wheel tractor so not sure what your question is on how it tracks when turning. I do know the tractor and drill may pull the cart sideways some on some hillside corners. I farm in country like the pictures in Old Pokey's link.

The track guage and how much weight is on the tractor plays a big factor in the ability of the tractor to turn.
