I had shingles 10 years ago when I was 59, got them in April, right at corn planting time, talk about a miserable planting season!
I'm a one man show so I had to go, worked a lot days of when I shouldn't have, I had the blisters around my abdomen on the right side, couldn't hardly stand a shirt or sheet on, pain was bad for about 3-4 weeks.
I finally bit the bullet and just did it!
