Back on April 23rd I ran my finger into the table saw blade.  It's still not healed.  I won't post a picture.  It looks better in a way but still no skin over the end.  I keep it bandaged because it's kind of a mess. Every time I touch something it hurts and I seem to crack it open.  Then it bleeds a little.  

What I wonder is, do they have anything they can put on my finger to cover it besides a bandage.  I've been putting bacitracin on and then a knuckle bandage.  Then I tape over that but I'm not happy with its current condition.  My wife thinks I should go to the doctor and they might be able to put some protective coating on it.  

I told her I could put new-skin on it but I was reluctant because I know it would hurt a lot and I question how much good it would do.  Or if it might hinder healing.

This simple damaged finger is getting in the way of a lot of work.
