southern MN | I think a lot of cabinets can be ordered with a drop on top, with a full front board and perhaps nail in side boards that have a decorative groove or so where the nail in seam appears.
The inside of the cabinet would be dropped down like this, and the front board only would go to ceiling.
Rather than my angled cut, would have this straight cut.
