Idaho | I was spraying some steep ground last night with my truck sprayer. Has around 40-45% slopes. Right after I got off the steepest slope and was heading back for a fill I heard a clunk. I had just taken my floater tires off and put my skinny tires on and the front left wheel bolts came loose. I stopped to see the clunk and you can see how much of the nuts were hanging on... I don't know if I would have rolled or not if the tire would have come off. Sure wouldn't have been fun to fix though. I had them come loose several years ago so since then I have made it a point to always hammer down with the impact and then put a couple foot cheater on. I did that the day before when changing so I am not sure why they came loose.
Before this I had the auto steer engaged and was taking some pictures of the slopes. Sure makes spraying it a challenge. The one pictures shows my gps. It was showing the roll rate at 22.3°. That converts to a 41% slope. That wasn't even the steepest part of the field.
