You should be able to submit an Ohio Tax exempt form to vendor from whom you are purchasing, if the item qualifies as a tax exempt item. Otherwise, since Ohio is considered an orgin-based state, you would have to pay Ohio sales tax. I know in MN if you pay sales tax that should have been exempt, you can apply for a sales tax refund up to twice a year. Not sure if Michigan is the same way or not.
