Southeast WI
I would say somewhat. The easiest way to control mice is to go get a few dozen of those plastic rat stations and keep bait in em. Place them AROUND THE OUTSIDE of each building - we put em on every corner, next to doors and maybe along the middle of walls if the bldg is over 100' long. We don't have mice or god forbid rat problems. Also helps we don't have livestock other than some fair goats, but we don't have mice by them either with this same practice.

Very critical to have them full of fresh bait by Sept 1 as it begins to cool down and refresh them in Dec for the winter. I see lots of posts about baiting in the shop, in equipment, etc and all kinds of hand wringing over this. Feed them before they get in your buildings and you'll be better off. Only exception here is the camper gets a bait station at each wheel and by the hitch jack as an extra precaution.
