Central In | Carmel used to be kind of country like. I remember going to the Conner Prairie Farm with an ag class in the early '50s.
My son lived in an apartment in the early '80s in Carmel. In those days we got off the Interstate at 116th Street in Fishers. You then crossed a railroad track, passed a post office, and then had 10 miles of open country until you got to Carmel.
Now it is solid housing and such. My daughter lives in Fishers. Talk about a change from a small village to nearly 100,000 people these days. | |
