. | I got what looked like a handwritten letter in the mail last week. The return address wasn't familiar though it was in the neighboring city. When I opened it, I found a letter from the Kia dealership, trying to get me to trade. But what bothered me was that in bold print was "We will pay off the $XXXX you owe on your current vehicle." And they knew what I owed. At the bottom of the letter was an opt out of future offers phone number. I called it, and get a recording saying the first thing I needed to do was provide my social security number. I hung up.
My son got the same letter also with the correct amount of what he owed, but with a different lender.
I know the year, make & model of your vehicle is readily available, but the loan balance? I'm not doing business with this dealership. | |
