Subject: 1680 and straddle duals

Bourbon, Indiana
Has anybody ran this older combine with straddle duals and had any trouble with the final drives and or axle? I don't recall seeing and in my area and that's why I ask, I know the newer 21 and 23 series are built heavier and build for it but am not sure about the 1680's. Right now we're running 30.5 X L32 and we're getting along with them good but we got to run beans for the first time yesterday and almost got hung up with all the rain we've been getting. It's just making me nervious with the weather forcast (not being in my favor) that I'm gonna have alot of problems in a few fields if I don't do something different. I've thought about mud hog but have heard from other different farmers that duals would be a better option, than a few others say mud hog would be better so I don't know.
thanxs
