Actually Pig is 100% correct. If he doesn’t have 100% of his anticipated crop sold or hedged, he s just adding length to an already long portfolio.
I won’t venture to far down this rabbit hole again. I sometimes feel like I am head butting a concrete wall when talking directional and implied risk and their metrics.
