West Central Iowa
history has shown that the second and third weeks of May are the most important for the planting progress numbers...

after that I think the third week of importance in planting progress is the first week of May.

trade will be watching weather out that far this weekend to see if any changes to the upper midwest and how they position for that time frame.

no doubt there is a struggle in the corn complex. (just take that one by itself)

theres awesome exports and demand yes

there's plenty of old crop yes

theres a tale of two crops ....

old crop as the USDA has shown us is still hovering over 2.1 billion bushels so it's saying theres likely enough supply to get us through the year

new crop is scratching its head wondering if it needs more premium built into it for this weather situation
