Do you have open heifers your breeding. I’ll run twins with mine and heifers are getting little grain so you can give cow bit more to get her milking hard.
If I understand you correctly, you are saying if I have a separate group of open heifers with a separate bull, to put the cow and her calves with that group correct?
Funny thing......
I do not yet have separate facilities for open heifers, yet.... but I am in the process of trying to rent a drylot facility, with the possibility of breeding open heifers.
Your method may fit for me, I have never thought of doing that. Thank you. |
