perryton, tx | I had one born after a difficult birth about 3 weeks ago-not backwards but very large and took the cow too long to deliver him. He rattled just like you describe and it took about 3 days for it to pass. Just do whatever it takes to keep him alive. Mine took 12 hours to stand and had to be tubed for 3 days before he finally nursed a bottle, then another 4 days before he could nurse the cow with assistance. He was about 2 weeks old by the time he could do everything on his own. | |
