They are at the bunk twice a day for 3 hours with pasture in the summer and in a stanchion barn in winter
Are they in a stanchion barn with a bare bunk for 9 hour intervals, or do you have hay or anything available during this time?
Curious, because I wonder how my cows would do if they were locked out on unproductive pasture for 6-8 hours twice a day during the winter for cheap housing. |
