Hastings, Florida | For many years wife and I have prepared 3 or 4 turkeys to feed everyone dinner for Thanksgiving.. Big extended family, always hungry. In the past I have fried them, micro-waved the bird ( don't laugh, worked great ), hung them in 55 gallon drums, cooked them in the ground, grilled, always trying new ways. This year I cooked breasts on my Traeger grill, just the breast, not the whole turkey. Much easier, great taste, quicker, moister, it just worked out better than cooking the whole bird. Only down side, no dark meat. Thinking about just breasts next year.
