It was really a more general statement about all the talk of “crying wolf” and “better than expected “ I totally agree that the cool finish to this crop put on a vast amount of bushels that wouldn’t be there if most of the corn belt had ten days at 100 degrees. Variability was so extreme here that I’ve hesitated to say a lot about my personal crops all along. Having more rain since we black layered than we did for the entire growing season is pretty atypical too. | |
