Southern kansas | Last two years my farmer sowed spring oats into burmuda then cut for hay, then got the burmuda put up late summer.
This year he's getting an additional late cutting of burmuda right now and then getting winter peas sowed into the grass.
Peas will be hayed and maybe let some go for seed.
Seems like it doesn't hurt the grass and a light disking takes care of gopher mounds and gullies.
Way south central Kansas location.
