DTN quoted a seed cleaner in the state as saying they had cleaned 13% less this year vs last.. about as good of a guess as anything..

Wheat is the cockroach of grains they say.. and you can't make any $$$ selling at the posted bids today so.. given the weather challenges.. aka we haven't turned a wheel yet on the drill.. still need to get fall crops in.. but still have time.. till the end of the month.. then whatever it is will be it... not looking so rosey as of now.

If we get the forecasted 1"+ tonight.. we'll need a week to dry.. and 3 weeks to do it.. before insurance cutoff at the end of the month.. so.. any more rain than that will reduce acres for us.
