To be honest, I don't know how an elevator makes money and it wasn't my intent to shed a negative light on a particular elevator. As I understand, Gavilon is a grain marketing organization and it is in their best interest to purchase grain to sell others at the lowest price possible. To me, this service just seems like a conflict of interest for grain marketing organizations like Gavilon and Cargill.
When was the last time soybean futures were $7.66?
