Clay, our local TV weatherman (Toledo, OH) said just last week that we had 6 days of 90+ degrees in September. At least 5 of those 6 were after the 15. Pretty sure he also said we had only 5 in June, July and August combined. That coincides with your map, but I agree, not "normal" by any means.
